Component and Equipment Performance Testing
Manufacturers and users of equipment in, for example, the process, energy or utility industries have a requirement to evaluate the performance of important components or items of equipment, particularly safety critical items. Advantica, at the Spadeadam test site, has the facilities and expertise to simulate both operational and extreme conditions for a specific system or item of equipment, in order to test and validate performance.
Typical conditions which may be required could include:
- Elevated pressures (with flammable or inert gases) or hydrostatically
- Flowing conditions involving process fluids
- Elevated or sub-zero temperatures
- Extreme shock loading (eg. from sudden pressure reduction)
- Fire or Blast Loading
